Some Items Which Can Be Used As Baby Shower Favors
Wedding favors are nothing but small but cute gifts given out to people who attend your baby shower as a thank you gift for gratitude to attend the party and also to keep it as a memento of the party. After planning several baby showers, I have come to realize that life is too short to fret over what baby shower favors to dole out as in my capacity as a sister, cousin, sister-in-law, friend and coworker, planning showers for my friends and family have become a way of life for me as it seems that everyone is getting pregnant these days and there are a lot of conceptions going to happen. Some of the best baby shower favors are diaper cakes, bouquet of baby sock roses, teddy bear theme ideas, orange and yellow diaper cake theme, frog shower theme, frog diaper cake, the animal pregnancy shower cake. There are many homemade baby shower favours that can be made at home in a jiffy and can be given as delicate gifts at a baby shower party. The most important thing about this baby shower favour is its cheap cost and it’s less time in making. The following items will be required in order to make this baby shower favour:
• One sheet of patterned paper for each favor. Paper should match your baby shower theme (e.g. pink, blue, stork, nursery rhyme, Winnie the Pooh, etc) clear cellophane favor bags.
• Some type of candy like M&M's, mints, Hershey's Kisses (again you can match your candy color to your theme).
• Some raffia or ribbon.
• Some scissors and a hole-punch
Fold each paper in half. Now, for about 1/2 inch from the fold, make another fold on either side of the original fold. Next, punch the holes out in the paper (on both front and back sides of the favor) using your hole-punch. Next, fill each cellophane bag with your desired amount of candy. Then fold or bunch the bag at the top.
Place the candy-filled bag onto the inside of this homemade favor boxes and punch holes in the bag as well. Close the favor up, and cover the candy-filled bag with both sides of the favor and tie your ribbon or raffia through the holes in a bow. Trim any visible cellophane that may be sticking out the top of the favor. Adorning the front of the favor with a little embellishment, sticker, a cute note, or the name of each person. In the example of this party favor, you could tear off a scrap of the patterned paper flip it over (the flip side of this paper is white) and use a patterned punch to punch a shape and then glue it onto the front of the favor. This way you can see the colors of the original paper through the shape of the punch. Here is your finished product!!! Thus you now have your best baby shower favour.

Teen girls room 'theme' (what to paint on walls)?
My room was just painted a light beige, and the walls are still blank. Before I got my room painted beige, I painted a heffalump onto one of the walls, and it looked really good, so I'm willing to try something else on my new walls (a friend of mine had calvin and hobbes painted onto his walls by a professional [http://www.flickr.com/photos/piratefan308/2807513654/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/piratefan308/2807512746/in/photostream/], so it looks like stickers, and that is where I originally got the idea)
I'm not sure what I want painted onto the walls yet. I'm a mix between a tomboy and a little kid (I like winnie the pooh, calvin and hobbes, most cartoons, and I hate what most teen girls like -- pink, makeup, etc).
Any ideas on what to paint on my walls?? Anything will go color-wise, but I'm out of ideas. Thanks!
I wouldn't do anything you're afraid you might grow out of, for starters. Someday, you might wish you didn't paint Winnie the Pooh and you'll hate being in your room. Honestly, though, who doesn't like Pooh? If I were you, I'd try maybe polka dots or stripes. That way, you can choose colors that aren't too girly, but you won't grow out of it quickly. Also, one of my friends did a beach theme (palm trees, sand, surfboard, etc.) and it looks awesome. Somebody I knew had a Candyland theme, but that's probably out of the question. Have fun, and be glad you have you're own room to decorate. I'd kill for my own room... (well, not really, but you know what I mean).
