cheap bedroom decorating ideas?
i hate my room! its way to bland the walls are pale green its a nice colour but it is not a colour that really describes me but i cant paint the walls (my mom always says that we are going to paint the walls everywhere in the house, well she has been saying that since we moved in! that was SEVEN YEARS AGO! so i doubt i will be painting my walls anytime soon) also i don't have any money but we go to goodwill a lot so i am always looking for stuff that i can use in my room. i have found a couple of things. so what can i actually make out of household items and cheap things at like big lots and goodwill? i have a lot of craft stuff like scrapbook paper, acrylic paint, card stock, fabrics, stamp ink, a couple of stamps, and a few other thing so any ideas ???
one of the cheapest ways to breathe new life into a space is with artwork. if you can't find any you like, make some! if you don't draw or paint, you can buy some cool frames at the goodwill (and paint them if you don't like the color) and take out the cardboard backing. use that as the base for a collage made with pictures you like from magazines. they can be theme, or just random images. you can use photographs of friends and family as will, either also collaged, or simply framed in your nice "new" frames. see if your mom would be willing to blow up one or two photos you love if you have bigger frames and only small, standard size photos.
