Greeting Cards That Are Unique
Living in today’s world means being in a fast-paced environment, going through constantly changing patterns in one’s way of living, and high-tech gadgets - thanks to technology. Today, keeping in touch and sending messages and greeting cards is just as simple as clicking on a keyboard and typing your messages. Make sure it is even better by adding amazing graphics.
But in this busy yet easy world, a traditional way of expressing emotion and conveying appreciation is still in the hearts of many. There is no substitute to a greeting card arriving in your mailbox with words of love from your loved ones. This much-loved way of sending your best wishes, love, congratulations and even grief is still very much visible. Attesting to it is the continuous boom of the greeting card industries and the 55 cards on the average sent by an average person in the United Kingdom. In the U.S., sending greetings for the holidays is part of tradition - wishing loved ones with a “happy holidays” or some “season’s greeting”.
And today, with the advent of electronic cards and amazing technology, traditional cards live up to the challenge. From its humble beginnings in ancient Chinese and on the papyrus scrolls of the Egyptians, greeting cards transformed to keep up with the latest in greeting cards’ fashion. Here is a simple way on how to create a very special wedding card. What you will need is a card that measures 5” x 10”. Fold it in half. Also prepare some accessories like glitters and other things that you fancy like ribbons, some text printed from your computer and a little help from Cricut. Use a swirl cut from a Cricut machine for that perfect twist. Create first a text using Photoshop by simply following the instructions that come with it. Now that you have a card and a text, use the swirl cut, add your decorative pieces. The designs will entirely depend on you. For other occasions, simply replace accessories and texts, depending on the event to be celebrated. Share your artistic side and at the same time give joy to your loved ones.
