How much should I charge for premade scrapbook page?
I recently made a scrap page in a custom frame for my couzin to give as as a gift to her sons teacher, several parents asked if I would be willing to do the same for them with their child I am not an expert but do create great pages.I just don't have perfect lines and my hand cut outs are not always exact but everyone loved my page.
What should I charge? I know I would say they had to frame it or pay the fee from micheals. but what for the page itself?
I have seen them on ebay for 7-15 for single pages..and in the 40's for mulitpules but is that realistic?
Thankyou, I have too much, I use chalk, glitter sprays, flowers, ribbons, embel. brads, texture, cloth, doilies....everything I have a cricut and the desgin software...this is my passion...I love it. I scrap for my boys and some here and there of me and the hubbs. I just know how much it took to make the one they all saw, it had a little of everything in it.Thank you for the input!
If you provide a frame, like the 12x12 frames at Michael's that run about $15 - $20, then I'd charge $40 for the page, including the frame.
However, if you are leaving it up to them to frame, then charging about $15 - $20 per page is reasonable, if you have a lot of material and time. I make scrapbooks for others and I charge about that per page, depending upon how much time and material I put in. If you use a lot of embellishments, such as brads, eyelets, paper cutting, etc... then I would go for the $20 per page. Remember, this is something they don't feel like they are capable of doing on their own. You are the expert. You are the artist. This is your craft and your area of expertise.
