Free Scrapbooking - 3 Inexpensive Ways To Create Scrapbooks
Scrapbooking is not as expensive a hobby when compared to expensive dance lessons or something like playing Golf. When playing Golf, one would have to buy quite many types of equipments to cater the game. However, people should be aware of the fact that scrapbooking could get towards becoming an equally expensive hobby when totally engrossed within its attributes. In the longer run and in case of higher interests, one would require various equipments and tools to bring a professional feeling in the game.
One funny, though scary bit about scrapbooking is that the expenses which arise is in small lots. There is no one tool that would cost you a fortune. However, you would never realize that you are spending at higher frequency and more things than you actually thought you would need.
One could definitely get into scrapbooking without incurring great expenses. You might not need to shell out a huge sum if right means are followed. Below pointers needs to be taken care of before you go about pursuing this hobby.
1. Watch the tools
Scrap bookers usually fancy buying every little tool imaginable and out in the market. They prefer staying updated with their hobby by collecting every tool to comprise the act of scrapbooking. Die-hard scrap bookers would purchase anything new that has arrived. At times these tools are redundant and work in similar ways.
It is not very much required to buy expensive equipments for this hobby. Even the most out-dated materials would work out really great. What really matters is the touch of creativity one has got to give things a real authentic look.
2. Recycle and re-use
You could work great on your scrapbook pages without having to buy new things from stores. You don't need to go to the craft stores for purchasing stickers for your pages. Instead you could always make use of magazines and newspaper graphics to work as stickers. These could be artistically cut to be pasted on your pages. Same could be done with old greeting cards. Another good source for graphics could be stationeries.
One could also make use of their old cloths in decorating their scrapbooks. The fabrics, zippers and also the buttons help in maintaining a good look. If you have a load of old cloths no longer in use, you could always make your home get rid of the clutter by making good use of them in your scrapbook giving it a creative feel. You could bring in your creativity in your scrapbook decoration with varied imagination as such.
3. Preparing own scrap books
Quite many people are in a habit of purchasing already made scrapbooks available in craft stores. They are then decorated with fancy items giving the book a much heavier look. These books could often cost a real fortune. They are ones you could always prepare at home from recycled papers.
Structuring your own scrapbook could definitely be tedious; however it becomes interesting as one keeps working on the same. You could purchase recycles papers from old book houses and sew them together gluing their sides. This would be less expensive than buying readily made sets. Furthermore, it would assist you in maintaining your design for your scrapbook.

Questions about digital scrapbooking with photoshop?
Hi, I am starting to learn about digital scrapbooking. I saw a lot of digital sites offer their products for photoshop cs2/3. Will photoshop 7.0 also works fine for that? Is it a huge difference between 7.0 and cs2? Or I better have install photoshop CS2? My compuster is PIII with only 15 GB hard drive left. So, I can't use photoshop CS3. Between photoshop 7.0 and CS2, which one do you like best? Thank you.
I would go for Photoshop elements. It is so much better! But if I only had the choice between 7.0 and CS2 I would defenitely work on CS2.
