A simple question to the Pro's of the Monster Hunter Freedom universe!?
To the professional's of the MHF world,
when you were new to the series, was it natural to have a hard time with the Yian Kut-ku? XD or the 'boss' monsters in general? i'm guessing everyone has to start somewhere, ryt?
so going straight to the point, how were you able to become good at the game? did you have to die countless times on a single boss to get better? get used to them, thus getting your butt smacked again and again? etc..

All of the bosses are pretty much like that until your equipment basically outclasses them. The game wasn't made to be easy that's for sure, even with good equipment you've got to pay attention. Later on certain bosses and certain attacks will one shot you or leave you nearly dead.
How to get good at the game? It helps to be well prepared first off. It may be a little tedious to make traps and food but it makes a world of difference. Some bosses are easily predictable after a few fights so pay attention to their various tells and how the behave in a certain condition, again though, you still really need to pay attention. I think it pays to play cautious and be patient in Monster Hunter, you can't really expect to run in and just dominate unless you've got some really good stuff.
